www.octopus-store.ro/
this is their store. They are Octopus Acessories
This is their facebook page www.facebook.com/OctopusAccess…
They had my drawings printed and were selling necklaces with them. They also lied to me that they did not steal them and took them from from some deviant who supposedly stole them first.
They sent me this link to this deviant but the drawings that belong to me were submitted 12 hours ago. So obviously this couldn't be true since Nijikon was over 12 hours ago, and they had them for sale since 3 days ago.
This girl is so shameless, she lied to my face! She made me feel bad about calling her out and "making a scene" in front of her booth. OMG! And i believed her, i could have had her kicked out of the convention on the spot! She made me apologize for making a scene in front of her booth So she stole my art, and i was the one who apologized.
THAT. IS. WRONG.
Wow, if thievery was a game, she would be the final boss
well this info is public now. I hope this journal will apears whenever someone googles her shop.
They also seemed to have stolen the design of the octopus in their logo from
look at their logo here
www.facebook.com/OctopusAccess…
and look at this drawing here
pretty damn similar.
There is not one drop of originality in their designs. There is not one drop of shame.
The thing that bothers me is not the stealing, not the making money off of it, anyone makes mistakes, but it's the way they handled me at the convention, the lies, her attitude of OUTRAGE that i was making a scene and she was oh so damn innocent
People have stole my art before, on deviantart, on facebook, i always discuss with the first, and most of the time they apologize and simply add a link to my gallery, that's all i ask. I wasn't going to report her and have her booted out of Nijikon anyway if she owned to her mistake and not lie to me and have that attitude! I feel like a complete idiot for apologizing to her!
They have made a public apology to me:
www.facebook.com/OctopusAccess…
Please don't use curse words, no threats, no ugly words, no other drama, i did this so the drama ends. If you do it will reflect badly on me so please don't do that.
This is the translation of the apology:
:For Nijikon we prepared a series of necklaces with 3 characters from The Hobbit (Bilbo baggins, Legolas and Thranduil) because we didn't receive approval to use them, the images created by Yuuza (link to galery) which is the reason we retreated them immediately from being sold. With this occasion i am also presenting my apologies, and thank the author for bringing this to out attention."
I am satisfied with the apology although that does not erase these unpleasant memories and the lies they told me.
I am very happy that you care about my art and what has happened, and i know you were outraged too by what has happened. That's why i want you to see this apology too and know that at least some justice was served.
I do not however want to see some shitstorm on that apology, if you're angry about what has happened, and want to vent about it, comment on this journal.
Thank you so much for your support in this your comments made me feel better! If i didn't have you on my side, she probably wouldn't have paid any attention to my complaints whatsoever, it's because i had so many people backing me up that i managed to end this problem and have my voice heard.
Please +fav this journal so that it appears better in google searches.
Thank you!

AI art, no longer a place for humans?
I've been browsing deviantart lately after a long absence and noticed around 80% of th art i see here is AI art. Then i go to the comment section and i see Ai generated comment responses i can use, i scroll down and i see some people have actually used some of them. So a machine generates art and a machine comments on it. How ironic is that? 8 out of 10 new deviants sugested are AI prompters. It gives me the feeling that there is no longer a place for human art here. It's quite lonely coming here seeing everything machine made, almost like i am in the matrix or some alternate universe governed by machines. From the people i watch i see many journals of people leaving for other sites and i am sure many left but did not make a journal about it. When i joined, it was the human interaction that made me want to come back again and again and ultimately become a better artist. I am thinking of the new artists who just begun their journey how this feels for them right now. If anyone wants
My art was removed bc of a copyright complaint
So apparently all my "lord of the rings" art was removed from dA because of of a DMCA takedown notice filed by none other than Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. I see there are still plenty of fanarts of LOTR on dA and i don't understand why mine was specifically targeted. And why would they even go and remove a piece of fanart sitting on dA, i mean, it was just on display, i made no money off of it. Some of those drawings were made 6 years ago. 6 years ago! Now they decide to take my art down? So, we're like not allowed to draw fanart anymore? Why is there even a FANART category on dA if we're not allowed to draw any fanart. Is that some sort of trap? Submit your fanart here, then NOOO take down that evil fanart you drew illegally! Dude like WTF man. I am shocked. Also here's a quote from deviantart's policy: "Please note: Three strikes involving claims against you with respect to copyright infringement will result in an indefinite ban on your account and will block all of your
Art thief alert: Fredrik Persson
Yet another case of art thief public shaming. I usually don't make a fuss when people just repost my art but this one got me really pissed off and let me tell you why. The drawing in question was this one i posted yesterday (see below). And the thief took it, removed my watermark, mirrored ir and posted it on reddit here https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/ae5hn5/kebos_lowlands_konar_fanart/ Now what pissed me off was that people started asking him if his commissions are open and he said yes, so basically he lures people with my art and then scams them maybe doesn't even deliver any art, or gives his own art. I cannot let my art be used to scam people, this has gone too far. And then taint my name when the commissioner doesn't get what he wanted. People recognized my art and called him out so he erased the reddit post but i did some digging and found his artstation where i sent him a message. This is his artstation https://www.artstation.com/dolkman and his name is Fredrik
dA? and East European Comic Con
Oh hi everyone!
Just a heads up that i will be attending this year's East European Comic Con as well. I'll have stickers and posters and all sorts of stuff so if you're going then don't hesitate to drop by.
Off topic but is dA really and i mean reaaaaaally quiet lately? Like, what's going on? I know the website was taken over by another website, but i haven't noticed any changes since then except that it's just getting quieter and i see many artists have deactivated their accounts. Did i miss anything?

I've had my work stolen countless times since I first started posting it online 15 years ago. Most for just empty praise (what the hell kind of satisfaction can you possibly get from being praised for something you didn't do?!), but some for profit via commissions, prints, and other items. The most expensive thing thus far was a woman on eBay who was selling cigar box purses with my Harry Potter work slapped on the sides for $50 bucks USD a pop. She sold a few before she was caught, too.
I went to take a look at your gallery, btw, and your work is really excellent. It's not surprising that someone was trying to sell it!
If you've ever had a table/booth at a convention artist alley (or whatever they're called there) and you already know this, please disregard the redundancy. Otherwise:
In the future for conventions, it doesn't matter where the booth owner got the material. If they didn't create it, they're in violation of the policies of the artist alley. That's been an explicit rule at every con I've ever sold MY work at, and it's a zero tolerance policy, too.
If you EVER see your work being sold in an unauthorized manner at a con, report it to the artist alley operations booth IMMEDIATELY to have them ejected from the con. If you see someone ELSE'S work being used, even, report it. They can't claim ignorance because ALL artist alleys make you agree to their policies when you register/pay for a booth space. If they didn't read what they agreed to then that's their problem, not yours.
I mean, honestly, you're supposed to learn not to take what doesn't belong to you by the time you're five years old! It irritates me to no end when people do that anywhere, but if they do it to PROFIT from the stolen work? That's when "~Ye Olde Hunting Brick~" comes out to play. >:\
