I think you did a really great job on this one. The shading is amazing, and I love how she looks so almost ghostly, yet so full of life at the same time. I love how different the two characters are, but how well they go together. You have captured almost a sadness in his eyes, and a sort of devilish playfulness in hers. I love how the only color is the sky, because it really brings out the characters and makes them stand out even more. Overall, this is a piece of work to be proud of, and you should know that you are an amazingly talented artist.

This is a fantastic drawing that definitely deserves recognition. The pale blue background adds just enough colour and allows the artwork to really stand out. I do like the addition of teal in her skirt, as it brings forth the background colour into the main drawing. The simple black, white and grey of the characters is nice, and the detail is superb, especially in the curls of her hair, tails and dress. The detailing in the upper corners is a nice touch, and everything seems precise and evenly detailed. I feel that their expressions tell a lot a well, particularly of their characters and personalities. I think that it is very interesting, unique and beautiful.

Hehe, I think the trouble is some if the fun part to - to work something out, to challenge yourself. Even if you don't thinking about the fun, its part of it ^^

Stumbled about in a curious mind as your had made something a favorite of mine. This noticed this on your front page, really liking the style (think I see 10 tails? unless very fluffy and cuddly big tail and it's just split ends ^^)

Do you use postercolor or guache to color? That teal color is so opaque, and it's really making me yearn to paint!

An eleven tailed fox : ) I'm certain Kurama is jealous. I like the retouched background in photoshop. I may try that in some of future sketches. The use of a cool background really pushes the characters to the forefront.

wow this is amazing!! Is the sketchbook you use originally that sort of aqua colour? it doesnt look like it was coloured in or painted. And what medium did you use for the black and white parts? Is it paint or...?

i seeee that explains it. I was beginning to think you had a multicolour sketch pad because lots of your other pictures have coloured backgrounds too lol.

i don't think a multicolored sketchpad exists
besides, haven't you noticed the paper is not colored all the way? the whole page is not colored, just some parts, that could be done traditionally with watercolor or ink but the paper is so absorbent it's a waste of materials.

i dont know i faintly remember seeing one a few years ago...

i assumed you had coloured paper then painted over with black and white paint or something...well, i guess the photoshop method works a lot better. love photoshop. so useful.
