I definitely like the hues used. It looks like the old renaissance Japanese artwork with a new-age spin. The use of color and highlights, everything stands out nicely, without being overbearing. I get a comfy feeling when I look at this.

The anatomy is top-notch and scaling is right on. (the size of the tiger opposed to the woman). The differing linework techniques between the tiger and the woman is also a nice touch. It shows that you a variety of skill with linework and giving texture where it's needed.

It does seem like the tiger is stronger in color than the woman. But I'm also thinking maybe that was intended for having a more subdued focus on the woman when the viewer is working their way around the piece. And if so, that's a great idea.

Even unfinished it looks great!! Maybe just do a series of these, where the colors appear to be evolving on the characters but never really covers them.

I love your work.

You keep saying that people, if they want to be good at something, they need to practice it. But could you help some of us ouy with a tutorial on anatomy?? Thanks <3

thank you so much
there are so many great tutorials on anatomy on dA, i am honestly not very good at anatomy, not as good as the people making tutorials ^^; anatomy is my weakest point, and it would be weird for me to make tutorials of the thing i suck at the most D:

:) Thanks! I was practicing the other day and it turned out pretty good. The talent of drawing actually goes to my brother, since he had a lot of times on his hands to draw. He got in trouble a lot as a kid, so he turned his mind to it. Now he doesn't draw at all :(

I can draw. I just have no sense of placement of where things go.
