here is another sketch from my sketchbook. A girl rigind some sort of sea dragon fish. I know it's ridden with mistakes because i only did it in 2 hours and i started with the head so in the end there was no more room for the creature's head, not that i spent much time thinking of ways to incorporate the dragon's head somehow into the picture. Well the result is that he looks decapitated :lmao:
I didn't have much inspiration for her clothes as well, the girl's posture is stiff and her legs are too short but of well, life goes on and i have many more sketches to show you in the next week most of them better than this i promise :D

I do draw most of the time and I would get a sketch book but I don't even have enough cash to buy anything about 5 bucks at the moment  cuz that's actually what I have plus change
I see them at walmart all the time but they're always over my money limit with what other things I'm getting or they have the right type of note book but wrong size or the other way around and micheals isn't a place I go to a lot unless I absolutely need to for canvases
I've been using printer paper currently well actually I always use it it's pretty handy with a clipboard
but I've been painting recently and quit a few weeks on a break

i used to use printer paper too for a very long time, and i had no idea there is better paper out there, it never crossed my mind to buy a skecthbook
but printer paper it isn't very good for pencil actually, when i got better paper i realized what i had been missing out, i'd never go back to printer paper. It's a pity you can't buy a sketchbook, here i can find decent sketchbooks at $5 with great paper 30 pages A4, but i guess things are more expensive where you live.
it's a pity when an artist can't get supplies :(

See if I was still in high school in another art class actually I'm pretty sure I took almost all the classes besides the ones that work on the computer with designing  and specialized 2D art
but I would have the paper I need pshhh prolly woulda  grabbed enough for the summer
hehe  the strategy for not wasting it all first draw it out on scratch paper the same size as what u will use if ur just not sure about it
i do have this one paper but it's really bad paper for drawing when I was little my grand parents would give me and my older sister one of those drawing paper booklets once was this giant one tho different paper
the drawing paper booklets paper would tear easy color doesn't show up well on it (it's not white it's like a tan color) and the .... Hmmm wow brain fart can't remember what it's called ... The cover and backing was basicly taped to the paper so the pages sometime come out
it might be good with charcoals but it might rip the paper is the thing...

i tried my best with mspaint + mouse orz
drew over certain areas to find proportions/anatomy somewhat... but i couldnt analyze the pose because software does not make it easy to erase mannequin drawing (sorry ;-;)

regardless, hope this can perhaps help !

i think the paint over you made is orientated to face the viewer, and if you look at the dragon, you'll see it's sitting in an almost perfect side view, so that pose you made would require the dragon to sit orientated to face the viewer as well. It's hard to explain i guess, thanks for the paint over and help <33

that is correct :)more than drawing the image, i wanted to introduce idealistic proportions to the character, but not enhance the image. mspaint does not make erasing easy, so i only wanted to free hand the basics without guidelines :>

you are welcome ^^ it was my pleasure~
