Bilbo Baggins by Yuuza Bilbo Baggins by Yuuza
I loved The Hobbit so much i had to butcher draw him too! :dummy:
that movie is just... pure win QuQ

i have to admit i didn't think Martin Freeman will make a good Bilbo Baggins, but i was so wrong! ;w; he is perfect for the role, i couldn't imagine another Bilbo Baggins looking any different
i was also afraid that 'The Hobbit' will stay in the shadow of LOTR but it's a movie that can stand alone and stay faithful to the original portrayal and atmosphere of LOTR at the same time.
It's just too awesome, i'll go see it again soon *u*

And that soundtrack!!!!! fffffffffffff it touches my soul /dies

I completely agree with you in this matter. It is unfair really that people get told they'll go nowhere in life with art, but that is entirely false. Lot's of people are successful with living a life filled with art. In fact, one of my good artist friend found this just as she was about to give up her art carrier, and this wonderful piece inspired her to stay strong. So I am also thanking you for inspiring me to continue my work.
Thank you again and keep up the good work!
May your sword stay sharp,
Melodymalone123 and friend.

I think your right, it truly is a beautiful piece, it touches the soul, and one of the first hobbits I've read. I've been living in a whole world full of art, this is beyond words here, but for now this is inspiring very well done and truly an immense treasure to come along to. It's a very good day when this touches another, thank you for touching me!
The impact of Bilbo, he's truly THE Hobbit! A world full of artists, a world full of imagination.
Stay strong and let your dreams low strong my friend, until then!

This is very unique. I got to love the coloring details, lighting and other values you used to paint your fan art of Martin Freeman. :D

Looks great!  Do you find yourself going through endless refinements before you get the facial features just right?

Also, just out of curiosity, did you become introduced to the series through the books or the movies? I am an original fan of the books, so I sometimes find myself being overly critical of the movies, but I have to agree that Martin Freeman is a perfect young Bilbo.
